Meet The Health Queen
Meet the Health Queen, Monica Wrigley. She will be spearheading the new weight loss program, M.O.V.E. which is an ongoing lifestyle based 4 month weight loss and fitness program. She understands the issues that challenge you with weight loss and staying in shape. She knows that the real issue has nothing to do with food or exercise for that matter. It has everything to do with how you think. Monica is very good at working the mind so that eating properly and exercising regularly become second nature. She has a very athletic background as well. In high school she was on the track team and has been a regular member of the Colonel Bob's Beach Boot Camp classes.
Monica was born in Secaucus, New Jersey. Her Undergraduate studies were conducted in West Virginia where she received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. As her interest in human behavior continued to grow she went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Mental Health at Barry University. She is a certified Behavior Analyst, working with developmentally disabled individuals. Monica has extensive experience helping people monitor and change their own behavior, using the basic principles of behavior analysis. She is currently employed at the Ann Storck Center, a nationally accredited, highly acclaimed non-profit human service organization serving the needs of children and adults in south Florida who present severe and multiple developmental disabilities including Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Mental Retardation.
